Studies have  provided evidence that being in natural spaces— or even just even looking out of a window  onto a natural scene—somehow soothes us and relieves stress.

I’ve always found that photographing nature makes me feel happier.There is growing evidence that nature is a mood stimulator .

Though the intention of starting this blog was to focus on pictures of my hometown, it will  have pictures associated with natural landscapes,travel, abstract and food etc in separate folders. Photography as a hobby has kept me busy and made me feel more alive. All of us go through low and high points in our life and this particular hobby has helped me find a balance . I spend at least a  couple of hours during the week either taking pictures or reading up on what I think should be the caption for the picture or look into You Tube  to learn different techniques on  becoming a better photographer.

It has boosted my creativity !!!
