Watching the sun rise through the clouds from my living room is a pleasure .The days it is sunny I try to soak in and enjoy the warmth of the big ball of fire and wonder at the glory of nature.
I have been unable to take many pictures as the pain in my wrists has gotten worse. I have been diagnosed with De Quervain syndrome . Need a surgery pretty soon. Will have to take a break for a while as use of the thumb is extremely painful 😦
In the meanwhile will post as and when I feel my passion reignited even with the intense pain…
On a cold morning at the duck pond on E Ridgewood Ave. It was stunning looking at all things frozen in time except for people doing their walks with their pets or by themselves. With the sun shining brightly it cast a blue on the snowed in lake and gave it an ethereal look.
Going through some tough time and choices in life. I was reminded of the song from frozen. I am not someone who breaks down quickly. Once upon a time I was the most sensitive girl you would have ever met. But with passing of years( a nicer way of saying I am aging 🙂 … ) challenges have made me stronger and give me the “Do not care” attitude to life”
Here are a few lines from the frozen song “LET IT GO.. “that came to my mind…
My soul is spiraling in frozen fractals all around
And one thought crystallizes like an icy blast
I’m never going back
The past is in the past
Let it go, let it go
And I’ll rise like the break of dawn
Let it go, let it go
That perfect girl is gone
Here I stand in the light of day
Let the storm rage on
The cold never bothered me anyway
On a foggy morning it looked pretty empty at 6:30 am. It is one the major streets that lead to downtown Ridgewood. One the one dead end is my home and the other end is downtown. The Ridgewood Art Institute, Oak Manor Apartments , YMCA ,plenty of restaurants, tree lines houses and the Bus Stop etc is all the places located on this street Major intersections being E Glen Ave,Linwood Ave, Franklin Ave and E Ridgewood Ave.
I am going to be away for the next 2 weeks in India but will continue posting stuff from India . Going to miss my posts on Ridgewood…
