Getting food ready for the blizzard of the season. Ridgewood is expected to get anywhere from 18 to 26 inches of snow. Watch out for the snow pictures tomorrow !!
With the right amount of snowfall the landscape looked so pretty with old man winter making a return. Another major storm is expected this Tuesday with blizzard like conditions which could result in snow dumps of at least 18 to 25 inches !!!
Just when we thought it was going to be springtime soon, old man winter made a surprise return. With all the advances made in science and technology this is one area which is still cloudy . But the day may not be far off when humans will “play God” with the weather.
Located right outside a large park in the center of town in East Ridgewood-Van Neste Square is this cute sculpture of a buy with ice cream cone and a puppy. This park is the hangout spot for most teens and the town hosts most of the town events at this park. Today the park was covered in snow and looked very pretty.
I have been unable to post pictures of my hometown for the past one month. Partially due to the fact that I was travelling to India for 3 weeks and on return it has been very hectic at home and work.
In the meanwhile I did post some pictures of my trip to India.Plan to be back posting pictures of my hometown starting this coming Monday. Watch out. Until then enjoy some of these random
photos taken every now and then …
Sometimes I just sit back and just observe. This way I learn a lot more.
Every sunrise holds a new beginning….
The empty boat is flooded with sunrise. Sometimes we need a break in a beautiful place.ALONE, to figure out everything.
This was my first visit to Mumbai as a grown up adult. My last visit was in 1982 when I was very young. I remember having arguments with my cousins from Mumbai how Delhi was superior to it. But seeing is believing. Though I do have a soft corner for Delhi , yet the place that has caught my attention now is definitely Mumbai. It is a parallel version of NYC. There is a strange source of urgency in the air and people are nice and friendly. there is a vibrancy that is missing in Delhi. I am planning a trip already with my kids sometime next year. Here are a few memorable pictures from the trip.
